Central New York Insurance Agents Group Gives $20,000 To Local Charities
Syracuse, New York, Aug. 4, 2016 — The Independent Insurance Agents of Central New York, Inc. (IIACNY) announced today that it will donate $20,000 to 17 Central New York charities. The donations continue a decade-long tradition of the insurance group giving back to the community.
The funds were raised during IIACNY’s annual golf outing, held June 27 at Drumlins Country Club. The sold-out event, held for the first time at Drumlins, attracted 130 golfers. The outing, IIACNY’s largest annual event, has enabled the group to raise more than $100,000 over the last 11 years for local charitable organizations.
The donations range in size from $500 to $1,500 and will go to:
