InvestSM Adds New Members to Board

Three new board members bring first-hand Invest program and insurance experience.

InvestSM, the insurance industry’s premier classroom-to-career education program administered by the Big “I,” is proud to announce the addition of three individuals to the Invest Board of Directors: Kathy Conley-Jones, Rob Townley and Daniel Holst.
Conley-Jones is an insurance and finance strategist with three decades of experience as an agency owner. She is president of Kathy Conley-Jones Consults LLC and consults for Williamson Financial Group in Florissant, Missouri, as chief insurance strategist. She also currently serves as immediate past president of the St. Louis chapter of the National Association of Benefit and Insurance Professionals (NABIP). She is a past president of the St. Louis chapter of the National African American Insurance Association (NAAIA) and has instructed Invest courses in local schools for eight years.
Townley is president of Townley Kenton Inc., an independent insurance agency in Atlanta. First volunteering for Invest early in his career, he has taught Invest courses since 2007. He has served on numerous company advisory panels and nonprofit boards, including on the corporate leadership council of Fernbank Museum of Natural History and as former president of the Metro Alliance of Independent Insurance Agents.
Holst is executive vice president of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of Washington (IIABW), a role he has held since 1998. He also currently serves as IIABW’s Invest program liaison. He has many years of experience on the Big “I” AAS Board of Directors and State Partnerships Taskforce. He has served as president of the Washington Society of Association Executives and the Independent Agents Association Executives.

These individuals will serve alongside many industry groups and carriers on the Invest Board including: American Property Casualty Insurance Association; Applied Systems; Chubb Insurance; CNA; Chromium; Dryden Mutual; Foremost, a Farmers Insurance Company, Frederick Mutual; Hanover Insurance; HSB; The Hartford; the Big “I;” The Institutes; Liberty Mutual and Safeco Insurance; National General, an Allstate Company; Private Client Select; Progressive; Selective; State Auto; Travelers Insurance; Westfield; and Vertafore.
