Two New Vice Presidents Appointed by AIPSO

JOHNSTON, RHODE ISLAND – AIPSO’s President and CEO Chuck Kwolek has announced the hiring of two individuals to Vice President positions in the organization: Adam LaFlamme has been appointed Vice President – Chief Technology Officer, effective June 10, 2024, and Barry Zalcman has been appointed Vice President of Insurance Operations, effective June 3, 2024. Mr. LaFlamme brings 25 years of experience in software engineering and technology leadership, strategy, and transformation to the position. Prior to joining AIPSO, he served as the Head of Software Engineering for Middle and Large Commercial Market IT at The Hartford, and led product development, enterprise architecture, and digital platform initiatives as Vice President of Development at Insurity. He also held roles as a Project Lead and Software Engineer at consulting firm James McGuinness & Associates and Developer/Analyst at MassMutual. He holds a BS in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, along with certifications in Scrum and Agile development practices. -MORE- Two New Vice Presidents Appointed by AIPSO page 2 Mr. Zalcman provides 39 years experience in underwriting, product development, and insurance operations to his position. He most recently served as Vice President of Product Development at Private Client Select, and held positions of Vice President of PCG Programs at AIG, Second Vice President of Business Insurance Underwriting and Product at The Travelers, and Product Manager at The Hartford. He holds a degree from the University of Connecticut.
