IFNY Honorees Gatt, Crotty

Those who attended the Insurance Federation of New York’s 110th Annual Luncheon  joined many colleagues, partners, and friends of the industry for a memorable afternoon.

This year, we were honored to recognize two outstanding leaders in our industry. Hon. Jesmond Gatt, recipient of the Free Enterprise Award, delivered thoughtful remarks on the importance of innovation and leadership in today’s insurance landscape. John Crotty, recipient of the Mary Lanning Public Service Award, shared inspiring reflections on public service, dedication, and the impact of our work in communities across New York. Their contributions continue to elevate the insurance community, and we were privileged to celebrate their achievements.

We were also proud to highlight our IFNY Interns and Hope Ignites Scholars—remarkable young individuals who represent the future of our field. Their presence and accomplishments remind us of the importance of investing in the next generation of leaders.

Acting Superintendent Kaitlin Asrow, NY Department of Financial Services, offered a thoughtful and engaging Fireside Chat with IFNY President Howard Mills. The conversation offered a valuable perspective on current priorities and the evolving regulatory landscape, and it was one of the afternoon’s most anticipated moments.
