PIANJ Honors Capone as Company Person of the Year
ATLANTIC CITY.Gary J. Capone, CPCU, ARM, vice president of field services for Franklin Mutual Insurance Co. in Branchville, N.J., was awarded the New Jersey Professional Insurance Agents Company Person of the Year at its Annual Conference held at Harrahs Resort and Casino in Atlantic City, June 9-11. Nominated by PIA member agents, this award is presented to an individual who fosters a strong working relationship with agents and brokers, and who exemplifies a commitment to professionalism and service.
With over 35 years experience in the insurance industry, Capone began his career in insurance in 1983, working at the Ronzel Agency managing their personal lines division. He went on to join FMI in 1990 where he was a field representative until 2000, then becoming manager of field services. Active in the industry, Capone participates as a New Jersey delegate for the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies Congressional Contact Program.
