It’s All About Your Bottom-Line and Our Servicing

By Glenn Femminella

The insurance climate today, as in years past, is all about servicing clients and their needs. Working in a collaborative environment, where ALL team members filter their thoughts on how to effectuate change to YOUR bottom-line. American Global has adopted this philosophy and it has become our culture, illustrated by our results.

During our short time in existence, we have been able to work with clients to alleviate their frustrations and produce remedies that have driven outcomes in a positive direction. Let’s not kid ourselves, it all starts with servicing, providing outside the box solutions in a collaborative approach to situations plaguing your bottom-line.

Our teams have been able to accomplish a multitude of solutions, by placing ourselves in our client’s shoes, and working through marketing and placing business where others have fallen short. In addition, our claims team, that’s right claims team, has been able to drive results and become our lead for sales calls. From reviewing older claims, through their respective carriers/TPA’s, to either facilitate closings or reserve reductions; to proactively working with our partners to initiate investigations, on workers’ compensation losses, resulting in limited third-party over claims; to instituting training and development for Foreman and Project Managers involving initial investigation, documentation and evidence preservation for losses that occur; to establishing anti-fraud initiatives with clients by providing a 24-hour anonymous hotline (in English and Spanish) though American Global, in conjunction with anti-fraud literature for employees and job-site posters; to launching loss control measures identifying improvement opportunities and cost savings.

These types of approaches have put the servicing end of our operation at the forefront, by assisting our Sales and Account Executive teams with having a back office that delivers results with a passion and enthusiasm for exceeding client expectations. As the footprint of our operation continues to grow, we sought alternative measures for assisting our clients with their ongoing needs.

One of these alternatives involves captive management, as a captive insurance program builder/designer, American Global assists companies operating in underserved insurance marketplaces by creating and maintaining captive insurance programs that allow the insured companies to operate their businesses without having to be beholden to the traditional insurance marketplace. Providing insured companies with control of risk specific to their industry needs by: managing reserves; reducing insurance costs; designing custom-tailored programs; supplying dedicated, industry-specific claims services with 24/7 claims reporting and full on-line access to claims services; optimizing loss prevention and risk transfer; identifying and collaborating with appropriately selected fronting carriers and reinsurers; instituting the application of industry-specific underwriting guidelines to reduce risk and cost and providing back-room processes for policy management, additional insured documentation, contract review and ancillary insurance product services.
