Fighting Fraud: New Leader

The Coalition Against Insurance Fraud is thrilled to announce the recommendation for Michelle Rafeld to serve as our 3rd Executive Director. Michelle was the unanimous choice of the Search Committee which worked over the summer interviewing candidates. Her selection will require approval by the Executive Committee later this month and by the Coalition Board at our Annual Meeting to be held on December 7th & 8th.
Michelle Rafeld’s impressive career has been characterized by a steadfast commitment to justice, ethics, and the pursuit of excellence. Michelle will become the first woman to hold this position in the Coalition’s distinguished 30-year history. Her extensive experience in the insurance sector and her advocacy for combating insurance fraud make her the ideal selection to steer the Coalition into a new era.
Notably, Michelle Rafeld made history before when she became the first woman to be named co-chair of the Coalition Against Insurance Fraud on the executive committee, showcasing her trailblazing spirit and dedication to promoting inclusivity within the organization. Based on her selection, Michelle has also resigned her co-chair duties. Beginning the transition period in November, Michelle will work closely with the Coalition staff to ensure a seamless handover.

Michelle Rafeld’s appointment is eagerly anticipated to continue the positive influence the Coalition has on so many, along with her leadership skills that she brilliantly has honed over her stellar career in the Insurance industry.
